ABOUT ME & MY PHILOSOPHY

Hello, I'm Kelsey Dial a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula. I live in Santa Rosa CA, but born and raised in Novato CA. I serve families within about an hour radius to assure your support in time. I am passionate about being a safe space to you while supporting and educating you during your pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period. My hope is to create a calming presence that provides security to you and your partner as well as a safe, sacred, positive, empowering, experience in a way that allows and encourages you to achieve your goals and desires for birth and in postpartum. Every day I am thankful to be doing what I love, sharing in my wisdom, nurturing presence, and bringing peace and comfort to the families I work with. I enjoy connecting during our prenatal sessions and providing you a safe space to ask questions, provide evidence based information, and learn from one another. I truly believe that my gift in this world was to become a caretaker- mother nurturer or 'helper'- "helpful to others, generous, supportive, warm, empathetic, caring and sacrificing." This definition perfectly describes me and my reason for becoming a doula. I pour my heart and soul into each family I work with as if they are my own family. My philosophy is that birth should be seen as a normal, natural process that your body was perfectly made to experience. I welcome all birthing people that are interested in my support services and hope to help you achieve your ideal birth experience.
